February 28

Today I kept working on the campus photos project. Box 18 should be done by Monday.

Also, Sara told me I have been approved to work more hours, so my new schedule (the times are just a tentative, basically I come in for about 2.5 hours at a time or a total of 7.5 hours per week) is:
Monday 2:30-5:00pm
Wednesday 2:30-5:00pm
Thursday 1:00-3:30pm

February 25

Today I continued working on Box 18 of the campus photos collection. Not much to report, except that it is a slow process.

February 20/February 21

I forgot to write update the blog yesterday so I will be writing for both today and yesterday today. I am still working on Box 18. Although there may not be a lot of folders, there are envelopes of pictures inside the folders which will make the process much longer than originally anticipated. For the past few weeks I have been writing that I think the Campus Photos Project is almost done, but I am beginning to realize that the process will never be finished because we can always add to the collection, which is bittersweet.

Sarah also gave me Paulus photos to work on, and I think I have those done, but I want to make sure that I don't run into anymore before I give them back.

Overall, it has been a productive week. I am hoping to add just a few more hours each week so I can get through some of this material more quickly than I am now.

February 14

So the campus photos project is not finished. But that is totally okay because I got to look at some really cool photos of Willamette students protesting the Gulf War. To get more information, I looked up the Collegians from that time (which were in microfilm form so I was able to learn that today too) and found out when the protests and vigils were.

February 13

I continued working on the 1916/1917 Wallulah and I am almost done with it.

February 12

I missed last week because I was sick, so I'm coming in for some extra hours this week to make up for the lost time. With the campus photos project basically done, I went back to scanning. I am still working on the 1916/1917 Wallulah.
