I also spent some time revising the instructions for a new scanner on google docs, and it now includes updated info on the Epson Scanner as well as instructions for using the Plustek Opticbook 4800 (I now have the name memorized..) in both Book Pavilion and Presto! ImageFolio softwares. I'm sure what I've written will need some edits, but I read through them and the instructions appear to be fairly complete.
I also received a mini project from Shanel that took maybe twenty minutes. The rest of the time was spent scanning and editing as well as making new JPGs for the Wallulahs. The ones I made previously were 1200x1500 and squashed the images noticeably. Now, I'm going through and deciding what height would be the best (eg 1200x1800 or 1200x1750) and applying it for all the images from that yearbook. I'm also recreating the PDFs as well to correct the squish.
Next week, I'll continue JPG and PDF correction and continue scanning/editing the 1922 Wallulah. I earned the title "King of Special Projects" today, so hopefully there will be a few when I come back on Monday.
