I continued working on the campus photographs this morning until Mary
asked me to burn a couple of CD's of photographs of Norma Paulus. I
also met Jennifer Paulus earlier and we talked for a minute about the
Paulus project, which I returned to in the afternoon.
I got confused after lunch. I started my next step with the Paulus
collection, that is, I started uploading new photos via Project
Client. First, I was really confused because a button wasn't working
and I thought I didn't have access, but really I just hadn't entered
the Project page so I couldn't add or edit anything within the project
yet. This took me a bit of time, and once I got past it I ran into
more small problems. I learned a good process for adding photos, and I
have approved a few photos online. However, I do not have access to
delete any photos...and I need to because I messed one up and uploaded
it twice. Tomorrow, I'll ask Bill for authorization to delete files.
Hey - I will check if cool with Sara, and then turn on up here. I'm up at Portland State till late Friday afternoon.

ReplyDeleteIt's fine to give Rory permissions to delete.
ReplyDeleteRory, if you've finished the spreadsheet metadata and have scanned any missing plates (I missed the end of that story - what was really missing and what you scanned), then you can move on to campus photos and call this project done. I can upload images to CONTENTdm via the spreadsheet when I am back.
Mary, is there any pressing need to have these online before mid July?
