This morning, I started the 1914 Wallulah and got a good 55 pages in
while continuing my edits of the 1912. The 1912 seems to have some
problems - page31 was mis-numbered "page301" and another page, later
in the yearbook, had not been properly cropped. There were a couple of
pages missing, and consequently, the rest of the book needs to be
re-numbered. So I am working on that while scanning pages of the 1914;
it's taking some time reorganizing, but I'm making progress!
I returned again to cross-referencing the digital and original Paulus
collections. I'm now at +/- PLS90B100 and I decided to start noting,
on the printed page, which slides are large, small, or "small-long". I
should be done with Box 4 fairly quickly tomorrow afternoon.
P.S. ~ Thanks to Rose Marie for the cake and Joni for the cookie! They
were delicious!
If you have a large section of files that are consistently named that need to be re-numbered (e.g. Page1 Page2 need to be changed to Page3 Page4) let me know and I have a script I can run to do that. Saves a lot of time in renumbering!
ReplyDeleteHave you come across any plates yet that need to be scanned? We should try doing that this week before I leave.
